Andrea & David

Andrea & David got married in beautiful Sooke (in British Columbia, close by Victoria) on David’s parents’ property, which boasted a stunning ocean view. The couple initially planned on a destination wedding, but with Covid dampening their plans, they were lucky enough to have family offer to host their big day. Andrea had always been drawn to deep burgundy and dark coloured florals so the Burgundy & Brocade Bridal Party Package fit flawlessly into her vision. The arrangements created with this package are full of texture, with flowers of different shapes and sizes, giving them a beautiful and whimsical feel. Andrea & David said their vows under an arch made of driftwood, with flowers decorated intricately throughout, with the sun shining for the entire length of the ceremony on an otherwise gloomy day. The driftwood arch was a labour of love for the couple, who built it from driftwood they collected together from the beach in front of David’s parents’ property. Such a beautiful day for a beautiful couple!

Details from the Bride:

Couple’s Personal Story:

We met through a mutual friend of ours. Long story short, a lot of small random coincidences happened which let to us ultimately meeting and going on our first date. We bonded over our love of Halloween and outdoor activities.

Favorite memories from the day:

The sunshine lasted perfectly through the ceremony! It felt like fate. Also loved our photoshoot, our photographer Madison Aberg made it so fun and easy and was great at hyping us up, we didn’t feel awkward at all.

Advice for brides planning their weddings:

Make it fun, you will spend more time on planning than on the actual day so try and enjoy the process.
