Marie & Jonathan got married at the Baron, in Calgary, Alberta. The couple, being on the thrifty side, had an interest in learning how to arrange flowers, which is why they went with DIY. Marie’s mom had a cascading bouquet at her wedding in the Philippines in the 80’s and she had a dream of replicating it but unfortunately it was outside of her price point. She was able to make her own cascading bouquet, alongside her mom, making it extra special. Their color scheme was mostly shades of purple, with added baby’s breath, and foliage in different shades of green, the colors mingling together to create the most stunning of arrangements.

“My partner and I were very happy with the flowers we purchased from You Floral. We were delighted when we found a floral service that allows the buyer to customize or purchase the wide range of flowers and greenery. The website was extremely informative with videos, flower care instructions, and even recommended flower packages that were professionally catered to several color themes and styles. For our wedding, my husband and I took a more customized route by selecting and designing out own bouquets (seen in the photos and obviously not professionally arranged). We had assembled table garlands, bridesmaid bouquets, several boutonnieres and my bouquet with a ragtag group of friends eager to learn how to arrange flowers, as well as providing a wholesome bonding experience with my bridal party. The quality and freshness of the flowers were maintained after carefully following the provided instructions given by You Floral which was a game changer in the +30C heat.
