How much greenery should I have in a bouquet?
For a bridal bouquet, we generally say to do 1/3 bunch of greenery, and for bridesmaids, do 1/4 bunch of greenery. If you’re wanting more flower-centric, you can lower the quantities on the greenery a bit.
What greenery should I pick for my DIY bridal bouquet?
We suggest a mix of greenery, which ones to choose depend on your vibe. If you want bold greenery-centric, silver dollar eucalyptus is our best seller. Our common recommendation is to have a mix of 3 greenery types, and we often recommend parvifolia eucalyptus, israeli ruscus, and italian ruscus as part of that combination.
Does greenery need to be stored in water?
Yes it does! Greenery is a perishable product, so you’ll want to prune the ends with pruners (not scissors), when it arrives, and then store it in water until you’re ready to arrange
What greenery is best for a garland?
Silver Dollar Eucalyptus is our most popular seller for making DIY wedding garlands. If you’re doing a minimalist look, we recommend one bunch for an 8 foot table, and if you want a more lush look, 3 bunches per table is ideal. You can either just lay the eucalyptus on the table for a subtle look, or wire it together for a more thick garland. Check out our blog post on how to make a garland!
Where do I store my greenery until I’m ready to arrange?
You can store it in dollar store trash cans, or a rubber-maid tote. Store the greenery separately from the flowers, and make sure that you have enough containers so that it isn’t cramped, and all stems are touching water.
