Meet The Team

Meet Sarah! You Floral was created after Sarah was on the search for bulk flowers to DIY her Okanagan wedding in Summer 2019. She realized that there is a gap in the floral business, not that many options exist for the DIY’er – so Sarah decided to change that! In addition to running You Floral and providing flowers for the DIY’er, Sarah teaches wreath workshops, floral arranging classes in Victoria.

If you’re interested in taking a class, or having a corporate event, get in touch!

How to: Create an Easter Napkin Ring

Nothing completes a tablescape quite like a nicely folded cloth napkin held together with a napkin ring! In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a fun and easy DIY Easter inspired napkin ring using supplies from around the house, and mini eggs!

Supplies needed:

  • A shower curtain hook
  • Hot glue gun
  • Moss (I got some from my backyard)
  • Mini Eggs
  • Cloth napkins

First, fold your napkin the way you like it, and put your curtain hook around it like you’d do when setting the table. You want to figure out where on the hook to add your embellishments.

Once you figure out where you want to add your embellishments, remove the napkin, and, using your hot glue gun, glue a piece of moss to the ring. Now, take your mini eggs (if you haven’t already eaten them all already), and glue three eggs onto the moss!

Now your napkin ring is complete! How easy was that?! If you enjoyed this tutorial, make sure to check out our Easter Tablescape blog for more Easter tablescape inspo!
