Kaley & Collin – Cincinnati Ohio
The wedding venue was an historic Christian College – God’s Bible School and College in Cincinnati, Ohio (yes, we have both a USA and Canadian arm of You Floral!) The brides mother Valorie coordinated and arranged the flowers, and they did a great job! Having the ranunculus reserved for the bridal bouquet really elevates the design and makes it stand out, and babies breath bouquets are just so timeless and easy to DIY!
Why They Decided to DIY
When I asked Valorie why she chose to DIY the flowers for Kaley and Collin’s wedding, she shared some truly heartfelt reasons:
“My husband and I are both in ministry positions with the college and needed to work on a small budget, and though I had never done DIY wedding flowers, I thought I could, and a friend offered to help. I checked local shops and grocery stores and big box store floral departments, but when I found You Floral, I felt the most comfortable with ordering flowers from your company, and I’m glad I did. Thank you for a great experience!”

The flowers were well packed and of excellent quality. The tutorial videos on the website were awesome, with great tips about using zip ties for tightening bouquet stems, wiring the ranunculus, and stretching floral tape to make it stick! A friend helped me assemble the bouquets and corsages and boutonnieres, and they turned out beautifully.
