Kelsey & Nick

Kelsey and Nick were married in August 2021 in Alberta, they had a very natural, earth focused vibe that featured greenery as the prime focal point. DIY’ing their decor was a great way for them to achieve their vision, and they saved a ton of money by doing it themselves!

Their Recipe:

Feather Eucalyptus x 6 bunches

Reason They DIY’ed:

We had a specific look we wanted with the pine and the flow of the feather eucalyptus, and we hand cut over 100 green wine bottles to go with the greenery. We love natural looking tablescapes so this was the way to go for us! We wanted lots of elements from nature.

Any tips for others who want to DIY:

Start with one piece that you love and find ways to tie it together with other elements. For us, we started with the cut wine bottles and wood accents/colors from nature.

Favorite Part About Your Wedding:

  1. Walking into the tent and seeing our vision all put together. The greenery made such an instant statement.
  2. The set up! We were lucky enough to get married in a tent rented through SER on my aunt and uncle’s property. Because of this flexibility we had a few days beforehand to put our vision together. We had such a fun experience with family and friends setting up. We had SO much help from our day of coordinator (Elyse) from Jennifer Bergman weddings and events. I’m quite sure they weren’t expecting to have to deal with pine branches but they handled the greenery set up so well! Our photographer  was also amazing!!

Their Review:

We were so happy with the eucalyptus that we ordered through you! We mixed the feather eucalyptus down our tables with pine branches and we were shocked at how much we recieved and how far it went to make our wedding beautiful!
