Meet The Team

sarah you floral flower delivery canada

Meet Sarah! You Floral was created after Sarah was on the search for bulk flowers to DIY her Okanagan wedding in Summer 2019. She realized that there is a gap in the floral business, not that many options exist for the DIY’er – so Sarah decided to change that! In addition to running You Floral and providing flowers for the DIY’er, Sarah teaches wreath workshops, floral arranging classes in Victoria.

If you’re interested in taking a class, or having a corporate event, get in touch!

Nagi

Nagi

$30.00

Greenery Details

  • We love nagi greenery due to it’s versatility, lush green colour, and beautiful shape.
  • Nagi comes in fairly large bunch sizes and each stems has multiple sprigs to work with. Very hardy and easy to work with!
  • Perfect for every style of arrangement!
  • It looks similar to Italian ruscus, but has a more “compact” style
  • Nagi is great to use in large style arrangements (like arbours) as it fills lots of space and has a gorgeous visual presence.

Number of Stems

  • Growers Bunch, 5-8 main stems with many branching stems

Greenery Care

For information about general greenery care and important notes about quality, check out our Care Guide

  • Give everything a fresh cut (about 1 inch off), at an angle, with your snips and put them in fresh water. With greenery you don’t have to worry about crowding the same way you do with flowers.
  • Remove any leaves that fall below the waterline of your containers, doing this will help prevent the growth of mold or bacteria which could cause premature wilting.

Quality

  • Your greenery will arrive looking thirsty and sleepy. This is absolutely NORMAL
  • Since flowers are a product of Mother Nature, the exact color tones and leaf shape of the greenery may vary to some degree.
  • IMPORTANT ** Not every stem will be perfect. I follow the 5% rule, meaning that out of 100 stems, 5 stems may break while unpacking, look a little too mushed, etc. Don’t let this stress you out! It’s totally normal and to be expected when dealing with fresh/live product.

Quantity Help

Recipes are made to be tweaked, but here is a general rule of thumb for quantities of nagi:

  • Bridal Bouquet: 1/3 bunch
  • Bridesmaid Bouquet: 1/4 bunch
  • Boutineers: Sprigs
  • Corsages: Sprigs
  • Centerpieces: 1/4 bunch
  • Large Arrangements: 1-2 bunches
