Kaye & Wes
Sea Cider Cidery – Victoria BC

Kaye and Wes were married at Sea Cider Ciderhouse in Saanichton BC (just a bit north of Victoria, towards Sidney). If you haven’t been to Sea Cider, it is a lovely space, with a gorgeous forested setting for the ceremony and view of the ocean. The bright and cheerful floral color scheme went perfect for their summer wedding, and for-going bridesmaid bouquets for floral bridal hoops is such a cute idea, I love it!

Their Review:
The flowers from You Floral were beautiful, packaged with care, and lasted a long time (we were worried they would start to wilt by the day of the wedding, but they still looked just as fresh a few days afterwards). We were introduced to the company at a wedding fair and liked the idea of buying flowers in bulk and arranging them ourselves (great for staying on budget). It turned out to be a fun, stress-free day–it was a great way to connect with family (who all love decorating) as we worked on the arrangements together. We dealt with Sarah and Tracy during the process, who were both very kind and professional. When some flowers were unavailable, they made sure to inform us quickly and offer others to take their place, which we ended up liking better than what we had chosen in the first place (the yellow rose with orange tips was one of them and became my favourite).

Kaye and Wes’s wedding perfectly captured the beauty of a West Coast summer, relaxed, colorful, and full of love. Their creative approach to DIY florals brought everyone together, turning the process into a fun, family-filled activity that made their day even more meaningful.
If you’re planning a DIY summer wedding and love bright, joyful colors, this is the perfect inspiration to show how a bold palette can still feel elegant and cohesive.
